The IBHS (International Branded Hotels of Shanghai) Annual General Meeting was held at Wyndham Grand Plaza Royale Pudong Shanghai on July 13th, 2010. Christophe Lajus, General Manager of Crowne Plaza Shangahi Fudan was elected as Chairman of IBHS and Peter J. Hierzi, General Manager of Ramada Pudong Airport Shanghai as Vice Chairman as well as another 8 members to the executive board for the year 2010-2011.

IBHS represents some of the best 4 and 5 star international hotels in Shanghai with 78 hotels and over 28,000 rooms. IBHS is a division of the Shanghai Hotel Industry Association. Meeting on a regular basis since 1993 with initially 9 member hotels, the IBHS has been able to exchange ideas and network not only amongst themselves but also with key agencies such as Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administrative Commission and World Expo Shanghai 2010. www.cometoshanghai.com and www.9djob.com are two main websites of the Association.
