A new venue, in perfect condition, was awaiting the players for the 4th IBHS Charity Golf Tournament held on Friday 1st June 2007 at the Shanghai West Golf Club.
As in previous years an excellent array of food and beverage animation at each hole supplied by member hotels and also key sponsors made for an interesting game. Players were able to select such delicacies as iced tea from the Grand Hyatt, goulash soup and beer from the Ramada Airport Pudong, Movenpick ice cream from the Sofitel Hyland and even the chance to win a Shanghai General Motors Buick LaCrosse at the lucky 8th hole !
Chairman of the IBHS William Hall said “This event continues to be our major fundraiser of the year and the results are entirely due to the hard work of the Golf Committee who put together a package that is so much appreciated by our members and sponsors. Our charity target this year is RMB200,000 and we are well on the way to achieving this. The change in venue meant a challenge for certain of our players but overall we were all winners for some very good causes.”
