The weather was certainly in the favor of the 25 teams that signed up for the 3rd IBHS Charity Golf Tournament held on Friday 26th May 2006 at the Shanghai Links Golf Club.

An increase of 5 teams over last year meant that more players were able to enjoy, not only the fine weather, but also the food and beverage animation at each hole provided by member IBHS hotels and also various key sponsors.

Chairman of the IBHS William Hall said “This event, our major fundraiser of the year, is an excellent showcase for the IBHS raising funds for the Shanghai Charity Foundation in an atmosphere that is enjoyed by General Managers of our member hotels together with their guests and associates. This year saw a good increase in corporate sponsorship and feedback both from the hotels and sponsors was very positive.”
